Graf-Stauffenberg-Gymnasium
Overview
Graf-Stauffenberg-Gymnasium is a secondary school in Osnabrück, Germany. They needed a modern, user-friendly website to serve as the central information hub for students, parents, and staff — replacing an outdated design that no longer met their needs.
This project holds a special place for me as GSG is my former school. Being able to give back and create something that helps my local community was incredibly rewarding. The new website now serves as the digital front door for the school.
The Challenge
School websites face a unique challenge: they must serve multiple audiences with very different needs. Parents need quick access to announcements and administrative forms. Students look for schedules and event information. Prospective families want to learn about the school's offerings and culture.
The website also needed to be maintainable by school staff without technical expertise, comply with German GDPR requirements, and perform well on all devices — especially smartphones, which most parents use to check school updates.

The new Graf-Stauffenberg-Gymnasium website is now live and actively used by the school community. The clean design and intuitive navigation have made it significantly easier for parents to find important information quickly.
School staff can now independently publish news and updates without requiring technical support, and the mobile-responsive design ensures accessibility for the majority of users who access the site via smartphone.
